3.2 Quote Variations

Final costs may vary from initial quotes if:

3.3 Binding Agreements

A signed quote or service agreement constitutes a binding contract between Shacteract Limited and the client.

4. Payments and Billing

4.1 Payment Schedule

For projects exceeding ₦100,000, the following payment schedule typically applies:

• 50% deposit upon agreement signing
• 40% upon project midpoint or delivery of key milestones
• 10% upon project completion and client satisfaction

4.2 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Bank transfers
• Cash payments (with receipt provided)
• Online payment platforms (as specified in invoice)

4.3 Late Payments

Payments are due as specified in the service agreement. Late payments may incur:

• A 5% late fee for payments overdue by 15-30 days
• Project suspension for payments overdue by more than 30 days
• Legal action for payments overdue by more than 60 days

5. Project Scheduling

5.1 Project Timeline

We provide estimated completion dates based on current workload and project complexity. While we strive to meet all deadlines, unforeseen circumstances may cause delays.

5.2 Client Responsibilities

To ensure project efficiency, clients agree to:

• Provide access to the work site during agreed hours

5.3 Rescheduling

Clients may reschedule projects with at least 48 hours notice. Repeated rescheduling may result in reassignment of your project timeline.

7. Liability and Insurance

8. Cancellation and Refunds

8.1 Client Cancellation

Cancellation policies vary by project size:

• Projects under ₦50,000: 24-hour notice required for full deposit refund
• Projects ₦50,000-₦200,000: 50% deposit refund with 48-hour notice
• Projects over ₦200,000: Custom cancellation terms as specified in service agreement

8.2 Contractor Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel projects for the following reasons:

• Unsafe working conditions
• Non-payment of invoices
• Client misrepresentation of project scope
• Force majeure events

8.3 Refund Policy

Refunds for cancelled projects will be processed within 14 business days, minus any costs already incurred for materials or labor.

9. Property and Site Conditions

9.1 Site Preparation

Clients are responsible for preparing the work site, including clearing the area of personal belongings and providing adequate workspace.

9.2 Property Damage

We take utmost care to protect client property during project execution. Any accidental damage caused by our team will be repaired at our expense.

9.3 Existing Conditions

Clients must disclose any known issues with the property that may affect project execution, including structural problems, electrical issues, or environmental hazards.

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 Informal Resolution

We aim to resolve all disputes amicably. Please contact us directly with any concerns before pursuing formal action.

10.2 Mediation

If informal resolution fails, both parties agree to attempt mediation through a recognized mediation service before pursuing litigation.
